
Cinnamon Sugar Sourdough Focaccia

A sweet, crusty, chewy version of our favorite sourdough focaccia! This is a perfect addition to brunch or breakfast with family or friends.
Ingredients:
- 100 g sourdough starter
- 400 g water
- 500 g bread flour
- 20 g white sugar
- 10 g salt
- 3/4 c butter melted
cinnamon sugar mix
- 1/4 c ground cinnamon
- 1/2-2/4 sugar (cane sugar, coconut sugar, or light brown sugar)
Steps:
- mix all of the ingredients - first starter and water, then mix. Then add flour and salt and mix well!
- cover and let proof for 12-18 hours until doubled in size
- pour half of melted butter into a 9x13 baking pan
- add half the dough
- spread half the C&S mixture over the dough
- cover with rest of the other half of dough!
- cover and let rest for 3-4 hours
- once rested, pour over the rest of the melted butter. preheat oven to 425.
- dimple the dough
- spread the rest of the C&S mixture over the top !
- bake on 425 for 30 minutes until golden
